Water Voles

Wednesday 4th October 2017 in the Methodist Church Hall at 7.30 pm

The Stretton Branch of SWT will host a talk on Water Voles on Wednesday 4th October. The vole is a much-loved, but seriously endangered creature, and is facing many challenges in the modern world. The talk will be given by Malcolm Monie from the Whitchurch Branch of the Trust, who has much experience with the creature in the Meres and Mosses of north Shropshire. The talk will be of particular topical interest in Stretton, where recent wildlife surveys of the Stretton wetlands, an area to the south of the town, have shown evidence, but no definitive proof, of the presence of water voles.

Do come along to learn about these fascinating animals and about our own Wetland area. All welcome.

Members £2, non-members £3.
