With Rob Leckey RBSA
Rob has painted all his life and was elected a member of the RBSA 11 years ago. His work can be found in numerous prestigious galleries and, on several occasions, he has had work selected for the annual exhibitions of the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours
Rob works with acrylic paint and ink, collage and mixed media. Scrapers, pieces of shaped wood, adapted ‘credit cards’, tissue paper, scissors, decorating rollers, newsprint and magazine illustrations (the list is endless), all find a place in Rob’s unique style of painting. He experiments with colour, media, and techniques and by the nature of how the materials are applied he can never fully predict the outcome. There are a lot of happy accidents
We are delighted that Rob, a long-time supporter of the Arts Festival, will be joining us at the Exhibition. He’ll be delighted for visitors to gather round, watch him work on one of his creations, and to answer questions about his unique style. Come along and be impressed by the amazing paintings he produces – without using a paint brush!!
