Strettons Music Group
Speaker: Dick Ward
In the final talk in this season’s series, we will be listening to British folk music whose origins are often obscure and have been passed on by aural tradition. The music will range from recordings made by collectors such as Cecil Sharpe in the early 2oth century to performances by more recent bands. Folk music is the people’s music, so audience participation will be encouraged
